About
Alpine Reminiscence is a limited edition of 29 that I gave myself to my 29th birthday.
Snow has always been my element, I was born for it. Since I was a kid I always fancied the weird magical anonymity of winter.Winter makes me feel safe, free. The goal for this art was to relive the moments on the slope.
It didn't matter whether I went with my parents, friends or on a school trip. Once on the slope, only a few things mattered. It was the snow, cold air, speed and the perfect awareness of your own body.
Total liberation, total freedom.
Rinse and repeat, until your thighs won't hold you anymore.
Behind the Scenes
Story
This is me 12 years ago.
I was 17, look at the swag I had while cruising the slopes. All the women (girls) wanted me, men (boys) wanted to be me (at least I thought so).
The beat for this artwork was made by my amazing partner Calliopea, who always supported me in my art career, and did me the honour to imprint herself in this piece (and two more to date).
Alpine Reminiscence was my first artwork where I did the compositing fully in Blender.
