Abstract

It's Friday afternoon and we find ourselves in the videoshop, searching for entertainment for tonight — a movie to bring closure to the week. Videoshops always evoke a surreal feeling, detached from our tangible reality. A ghostly presence lingers within these realms, forever anchored in us, firing our imagination. Standing amidst shelves and boxes filled with stories we've known since childhood, we are once again looking for the perfect movie to savor on a Friday night. As always, this movie will be a ghostly remnant of a bygone era when existence sparkled with an elusive brilliance.

During these movie nights, we laugh and cry, indulging in popcorn and sodas throughout the entire night, reminiscing about the good old days when we were just a little kids. However, behind the shimmering facade, concealed within the veiled depths of memory, lie mysterious truths—truths known only to the archetype of the meme. These truths reveal that what has happened will not happen again, and that nostalgia is the dragon we chase down into our memories.

Have we forgotten the arduous struggle against the relentless entanglements of dissolving celluloid, the sorrow of overwritten memories, and the grainy visions?
