Playroom was a final puzzle to a gamified multi-drop mechanics that I performed in the Spring of 2023. The project started with a limited edition drop Space Room. 

Later on, my genesis edition and 1/1 holders all could've chosen to mint redeem one of two new artworks for each of the eligible piece they held. The new artworks were Morning Mist and Silent Night.

Space Room, Morning Mist and Silent Night combined held a hidden seedphrase to a fresh new that had Playroom waiting for one lucky person. Finders keepers.

Abstract

It’s August, the middle of summer, and you’re halfway through your precious two months without school before repeating the whole year once again.

By this time of summer, you can constantly feel the melting heat creeping up on you at any given moment. During the day, being outside is hell. The road sizzles in the summer heat and the air shimmers wherever you look. If you were outside right now in the middle of the day, you wouldn’t be able to do much more than look for shade to hide in.

But you’re not outside. You’re in a very different place: the basement. It’s one of the few places that are magically protected from the heatwaves scourging the whole town. The air here is pleasantly cool and, despite the dust in the room, it feels fresh.

It’s your favorite room in your house. You decorated it with your dad last summer to be your shared man cave. In this place, there are no father and son roles, just two MEN doing their thing. Your dad has a small fridge here so he can keep his beers cold and watch important sports matches. You, on the other hand, brought your precious board games as well as your PlayStation 1 and all of your games. Together, you transformed this place into the perfect playroom. The room, bathed in the rays of summer afternoon light, looks like exactly the right place to be.

Sure, there’s still a lot of junk in the back of the room, but your dad says you can pretend it’s pirate treasure and that there might always be something valuable hidden among it.

To pass the time while riding out the worst of the day’s heat, you’re scavenging through the basement. Enchanted by its essence, you mindlessly sort through old dusty junk in the corners of the room. It’s silent here; all you can hear is the clanking of clutter as you rummage through it and your own breath.

Exciting, isn’t it? Just imagine all the treasures to be found here in Your Playroom.
