About
Point of Origin was a commission piece for a close friend. The idea of this project was to create a diptych, whose pieces complement each other in a narrative personal to the collector. The scene composition is based on the actual layout of his childhood room, and the elements in it are a blend of the real room decorations and artistic expression.
Similar to the Garage, Point of Origin is a conceptual 1/1 using ERC-6551 protocol. This essentially allows any ERC-721 token behave also as a wallet and own assets.
The plan was to create two unique NFTs. The first, Point of Origin, would be a commissioned artwork that also acts as a ‘wallet.’
The second, Box full of Memories, would be a companion piece where the collector could inscribe personal stories on-chain.
This way, if they ever decided to sell Point of Origin, they could move Box full of Memories to a different wallet and keep their stories, selling only the main artwork.
The main artwork is also minted on Story Inscriptions contract, and before completing the transfer, the whole behind the scene and motivation behind this has been minted on-chain to it.
