My grandfather is a carpenter. During my childhood, he always used to make me all sorts of wooden weapons and gadgets for my child play. I had swords, shields, lightsabers, even a functional crossbow.

During summers, we spent the weekend days together, both doing our own thing. I was jumping over the roof of his garage, playing Spiderman. He was right below me, doing carpentry. He was a real hard working man. He had those dirty trousers, a pencil behind his ear, and his workshop always smelled of wooden chips.

Born into a very poor family, he grew up being an outsider, and his family wasn't particularly popular in his village. He never studied, rather went straight up for carpentry in his early life, and changed his destiny. He married my grandma, moved across half of the country and worked hard. So hard that later he became THE GUY for carpentry far and wide across the region.

Now he' almost 80 years old. Always laughing when I come around. He gives me homegrown grapes and cucumbers, and he never stops smiling, and he never stops working on what brings him joy.

He is one of my biggest inspirations.
